What I Eat (Yesterday! haha)

Ok, since you were ALL asking... here is what I ate yesterday!

My typical Breakfast (I LOVE this breakfast, so it rarely changes!):
Egg white omelet with green peppers, red peppers, and turkey sausage
Coffee with Sun Crystals and Splenda Coffee Flavor and... whipped cream!
Toast (double fiber) and Smart Balance "Butter"
Two Strawberries

Morning Snack:
Danon Light and Fit LOW CARB Yogurt, made for people with Diabetes.
******Foods made for diabetic people are VERY good for you, for they have VERY little sugar! If I could say ONE thing, it is CUT OUT YOUR SUGAR INTAKE! SUGAR IS HORRIBLE FOR YOUR BODY!

Lunch:
Grilled Chicken
Half Potato, sliced and baked

Afternoon Snack (I also LOVE this, so it doesn't change much either):
Butter Toffee Pecans from HEB (Low carb)
Roasted Turkey Slices (from my aunt)
Hummus (Sun Dried Basil and Tomato, low carb low fat!)
9 Crackers (whole wheat)
Babybel Low Fat Cheese

Dinner:
Grilled Chicken (I LOVE Chicken; you don't HAVE to have chicken, but it is VERY LEAN!)
Baked Cauliflower with a drizzle of olive oil, pepper, garlic, lemon juice, parmesan cheese
Steamed Broccoli with fat free cheddar

Post Workout:
Amplify Protein

*****A Response to Dahnya:
It is ROUGH to always eat fresh and healthy food. I currently have the luxury of having two jobs: one in the morning and one in the evening with a break in between. Thus, I can ALWAYS come home and cook my meals. However, I could understand why that would be harder for someone who has to work all day! Yes, you could cook ahead of time and pack things away... maybe make and pack meals on the weekend. You would need to be organized to do that though! I will say this: I am a HUGE fan of frozen veggies! It makes my life a LOT easier! Just make sure that what you buy is ONLY veggies! No additives or preservatives! It took me a WHILE to figure out how to get the most for my money, since fresh/healthy food is MUCH more expensive! I promise to try one weekend to make all of my meals ahead of time and see how it goes! I'll let you know!

  1. Okay, Heidi. You have spurred me to get off my lazy butt and get moving!

I am going to take the weekend to write out a HEALTHY meal plan and I am looking up a cheaper version of the p90x (I found one for $70 on craig's list) but I'm jumping on your bandwagon. Thank you for the inspiration!
