I don't think I have been serious about my diet/exercise in over a month.
I will own up to it: I have gained about 4-5 pounds. It's not like I didn't know how it happened. I haven't been exercising like I should, and I have been eating out and drinking more than anything else. Not to mention I have been having INTENSE stress because of exams, job interviews, and relationships (studies have shown that stress contributes to weight gain - especially on the belly).
Well, I restarted p90x+ today. I noticed a HUGE difference in my performance today since I was REALLY careful about what I ate today.
I also decided to get serious about my diet again. I noticed over the last few weeks that I wasn't feeling well. I was REALLY stressed and anxious and depressed. I was tired and frustrated. I was also feeling nauseous because of the amounts of sugar I was eating. Guys, HOW many times do I have to say it?! The food we eat is literally killing us! I don't know why we continue to crave it!
This is why it's important to not wait a month to weigh yourself like I did. Now I have to RE-LOSE 5 pounds on TOP of the other 15 I want to lose.
I can and WILL do it. Good luck to all of you out there going through the same thing.
~Never Done
I wrote down what I ate the other day and it was really bad:
ReplyDelete.blueberry muffin/milk
.bowl of kix/milk
.apple
.sun chips
.mexican corn (with mayo, chile, lime juice, cheese)
.2 breakfast tacos (salsa, cheese)
Notice a pattern? No wonder I'm always exhausted. This too shall pass!! Stress will be banished (and then return). But you're in the final stretch!!
