New Goals

So...

Here I am a few months later... I will say this: maintaining a weight is much easier than losing weight! Whew!

After doing Insanity for a while, I am enjoying the fact that my cardio strength has grown dramatically! My blood pressure has actually NEVER been this low: 110/70! The highest my blood pressure has ever been was 130/92 - that was a serious problem. And I am proud to say that it isn't anymore! I can also run longer distances without strained breath or heart rate.

However, I am REALLY missing my toned arms and legs that came from P90X and P90X+. Once again, muscle is absolutely essential! It burns calories even when you aren't exercising. Muscle training also contributes to stronger/healthier bones.

So... new workout plan.

I will RE-DO P90X, and on the cardio days, I will either jog or use an Insanity video.

Goals:

1. Lose ONE MORE PANT SIZE.
I can currently fit into the next size down, but I want them to be a little loose. :)
2. Continue to get up early in the mornings for my workouts.
If I wait until the evening, I will be either too busy or too tired to work out.
3. Measure my success in INCHES and not weight.
This is a big one. I LOVE what I currently weight. However, I am not happy with my lowered muscle content. I will have to gain some weight. I will have to keep reminding myself that muscle is heavier but smaller than fat.
4. Recommit to truly taking care of myself.
This one is also a big one. With work taking up most of my time, I keep forgetting to take the time to genuinely care for my body, mind, etc.
