Really? Are you serious?! Someone out there was complaining about being a size 8?! What is WRONG with this picture?! At first I was really upset, and it made me feel fat all over again. I stood in the mirror for entirely too long this morning trying to decide if I am considered fat because I am a size 8 (and good new: my 8's are getting too big!!!!). Then I remembered that I have worked REALLY hard to be a size 6/8, and there is NO ONE anywhere that is going to tell me that my pant size is unacceptable. Urgh... media makes me SICK.
So a few updates...
I started Insanity this week. Holy crap! My body is excited about exercise again! P90X and P90X+ were good and challenging. However, I got REALLY bored, and so did my muscles. I can do P90X+ in my sleep. Insanity attacks your body in a completely new way. It is cardio-based and has short bursts of high intensity that leave you DRIPPING with sweat and wanting to vomit. IT'S AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

Here's what's happening. Since stopping P90x, I'm noticing that my muscles aren't as bulky. My butt has gotten smaller! HECK YEAH! Look at that! And my legs have gotten a lot smaller as well. I think that because I am doing more cardio-based exercises (swimming, running, Insanity), I am slimming down. I haven't lost a whole lot of weight, but I am still losing inches slowly (SLOOOOWLY), which means I am losing fat and not muscle! I don't know though... I really like that "tight" look I had when doing P90X and protein supplements. I think I need to find something in between.
My new goal is about another 10 pounds or so, but I am not going to beat myself up over it if it doesn't happen. I've never been this small in my entire life.
